Goddess Series (Current)
The Goddess Series is an ongoing creative project inspired by the wisdom and calmness of midlife to older women. Each woman is represented as a goddess adorned with a mixture of living plants, animals, and fungi.
Wildlife Chaos (2022-2024)
Inspired by the visual chaos that thrives in forests and jungles. This work features collage elements of painted paper and printed textures to suggest a thriving fauna life. Each piece is then finished with a realistic animal or bird done in oil paint.
Fauna and Patterns (2020-2024)
Collages created from painted paper, original drawings and prints. Expressive realism draws from the remarkable life represented in the small living creatures that are the center of each collage.
Geometry and Nature (2016-2022)
Created in response to my interested in both fauna life and geometric patterns. The combination of these two varied visual elements in one piece of art creates balance and shows contrast.
